The Brief: The Knickerbocker Hotel, a landmark building designed in the Beaux-Arts style was being relaunched as a luxury hotel featuring a restaurant by celebrity chef Charlie Palmer. A logo and menu system needed to be designed to pay homage to the Knickerbocker’s architectural style while still fitting in with Charlie Palmer’s collection of restaurants.
